Сonceptual foundations of international security assurances of nuclear rocket weapon control

Abstract

The article studies scientific approaches to understanding the simplicity and functional features of international security guarantees for security over nuclear missile weapons. As a result of the study, a generalization of scientific approaches was formulated regarding the conceptual foundations of international guarantees for the safety of nuclear weapons as a political tool for realizing the impact on the international environment as a result of an international compromise. As a result of the study, the author’s approach to understanding the system of international security guarantees of the international nuclear arms control regime implemented by international organizations was formed: “the system of international security guarantees of the international nuclear arms control regime is represented by the presence of international treaties and institutional entities implementing this policy guarantees."

To study the features of the theoretical conceptualization of international security guarantees over nuclear missile weapons, a number of scientific methods were used, among which the main place is occupied by such methods as structural-system and system-functional methods, which made it possible to highlight common and different positions of scientists on understanding the classification of international guarantees and their typological features. Thanks to these methods, the positions of scientists on such types of guarantees as negative and positive international guarantees were considered. Practical examples of such guarantees, which are implemented by international universal and regional intergovernmental organizations, are investigated and concretized. Among other important and rather uncharacteristic methods for Ukrainian political science, the methodological approaches of foreign scientists were characterized, who formed a methodology to measure the degree of realism of guarantees as an applied international political tool for ensuring control over nuclear missile weapons, in particular, this is a probit-regression analysis. a model for identifying the link between safeguards and the initiation of a nuclear weapons program or acquisition.
