Ruscism (rashism) as a threat to the current world order

Abstract

The article is focused on the conceptual foundations, causes and prerequisites for the emergence of the current world order, which is an integral part of ensuring the security of existence of modern societies and States. The purpose of the article is to determine the impact of the ruscism (rashism) form of the state and legal regime on the international and world order, international law, and the institutional mechanism for ensuring the world order. The author also makes an assessment of the threats to transformation or destruction of the existing world order and suggests ways to eliminate the destructive impact of ruscism (rashism). In the course of the study, a set of general scientific methods, including historical, comparative, formal legal and structural-functional methods were used, which allowed to comprehensively reveal the threats to the current world order posed by the ruscists (rashists) regime.

The issues discussed in the article resulted in the definition of such phenomena as world and international order, international law, institutional mechanism for guaranteeing world order and ruscism (rashism). The historical features of the creation of the current world order and its functioning from 1945 to the present day are outlined in the article. The legal basis of the world order, which is based on the principles of international law, is revealed. The institutional mechanism for guaranteeing the world order, its shortcomings and advantages in terms of establishing peace and guaranteeing sovereign states' territorial integrity and independence are reflected. The author identifies the ruscism (rashism) form of the state and legal regime as another type of fascism that finally emerged in Russia in the twenty-first century. The author points out the aggressive behaviour of the leaders of ruscism (rashism), which is manifested in the unleashing of aggressive wars against Georgia and Ukraine, disregard for the principles of international law, sabotage of the UN Security Council, and direct or indirect terrorist activities around the world. Such activities of the ruscists (rashists) discredit the very foundations of the world order and pose a threat to its existence.

In conclusion, the author emphasises the urgent need to reform the existing institutional mechanism for guaranteeing world order, first of all, the UN and its Security Council, in order to avoid chaos and violence around the world. The necessity of uniting the entire civilised liberal democratic world to oppose ruscism (rashism), condemn its leaders and ban it as an ideology and a form of state and legal regime is emphasised.
