Abstract

This article analyzes the legal aspects and innovative solutions related to food security in Ukraine, with a review of European experience. It examines legislative initiatives aimed at harmonizing national food quality control systems with European standards. The authors highlight how the adaptation of international norms impacts the food quality control process in Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of aligning national requirements with international criteria to strengthen food security. Special attention is drawn to the necessity of modernizing legal regulations to address contemporary challenges, such as changing consumer preferences and global threats. Trends in legislation that promote the improvement of food quality control and consumer rights protection are analyzed. The importance of cooperation with international organizations and the adaptation of European practices to enhance the effectiveness of the national food security system is underscored. Thus, the article offers new perspectives on the development of legal regulation in Ukraine based on the integration of legal norms that meet modern requirements, aiming to ensure a high level of food security for consumers.
