Administrative procedures in the field of administrative and legal support for the implementation of the principle of combating gambling addiction (ludomania)

The article examines administrative procedures that can be implemented in the field of administrative and legal support for the implementation of the principle of combating gambling addiction (gambling addiction). It is established that the administrative process in the narrow sense and the administrative procedure are different concepts, while the administrative process is mostly derived from administrative procedures. The characteristic features of administrative procedures in the field of administrative and legal support for the implementation of the principle of combating gambling addiction (gambling addiction) are highlighted. The following definition of administrative procedures in the field of administrative and legal support for the implementation of the principle of combating gambling addiction (gambling addiction) is proposed - this is the activity of public administration entities regulated by law to consider specific administrative proceedings and adopt administrative acts during the implementation of state policy in the field of combating gambling addiction, carried out in the manner and stages specified by law and aimed at protecting society from the harmful effects of gambling (social, public interest) or protecting the rights of players to safe play. Two main groups of administrative procedures are identified that can be implemented in the field of administrative and legal support for the implementation of the principle of combating gambling addiction (ludomania): declarative and interventional, and the types within each group are listed. It is concluded that a promising direction for further scientific research is administrative procedures for digitalization to formulate proposals for improving the regulation of issues of protecting society and players from gambling addiction.
