Abstract

The article examines the legal regulation of ensuring environmental safety in the process of using agricultural land by agricultural business entities, in particular agricultural cooperatives and farms. The current regulatory legal acts regulating environmentally safe land use are analyzed, the main problems and legal gaps in this area are identified. Modern challenges related to soil degradation, environmental pollution and the need to increase the level of environmental safety in the activities of agricultural cooperatives and farms are considered. Based on the analysis, directions for improving legislation and mechanisms for its implementation are proposed to ensure environmental safety in the use of agricultural land.

The purpose of the article is to study the legal aspects of ensuring environmental safety in the use of land by agricultural business entities, as well as to identify ways to improve regulatory legal regulation.

As a result of a comprehensive analysis of the legal regulation of the environmental safety of agricultural land use, the effectiveness of the current legislation was assessed, its main problems and gaps in regulatory regulation were identified, and the main shortcomings of the mechanisms for controlling and monitoring compliance with environmental requirements were identified. Based on this, proposals were developed to improve the legislation and ways to eliminate the identified gaps. It was established that the environmental safety of agricultural land use in the context of economic transformations should be considered as an environmentally balanced development of land relations in the agricultural sector, which provides for such a land use process that minimizes the impact of controlled hazards (anthropogenic, naturally destructive: erosion, karst, etc.) and ensures resistance to uncontrolled ones (extreme natural processes and phenomena, technogenic emergencies). Effective provision of environmental safety in the process of using agricultural land requires improving legal mechanisms, increasing control and introducing incentive measures for agricultural business entities.
