Abstract

The role of political elites in ensuring the stability of intersectoral interaction in Ukraine is becoming increasingly relevant in light of the significant political and economic transformations that have taken place in the country over the past decades. In conditions of political instability, economic challenges, and social tensions, the interaction between various sectors—government, business, and civil society—has become a key factor in the country's development. Political elites, as influential actors with the power to shape policy, play an important role in coordinating this interaction and maintaining a balance between different interests. The relevance of this topic is confirmed by Ukraine's ongoing efforts to integrate into the global economy, implement democratic reforms, and overcome the consequences of internal and external crises, such as war and economic decline.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of political elites in maintaining the stability of intersectoral interactions in Ukraine, particularly how their influence and decisions contribute to the sustainable development of various sectors.

The results of this study indicate that political elites have both the potential to stabilize intersectoral relations and the capacity to exacerbate conflicts when personal or group interests take precedence over national goals. It was found that successful cases of cooperation between sectors often occur when political elites take on the role of mediator, promoting dialogue and advancing policies that align with broader societal needs. At the same time, the research results also revealed a number of instances where corruption and the lack of accountability among elites led to fragmentation and inefficiency in intersectoral interaction.

Thus, the study emphasizes the critical need for Ukraine's political elites to adopt a more responsible and inclusive approach to governance to ensure the stability of intersectoral interactions. Strengthening the rule of law, enhancing institutional capacity, and promoting greater transparency are key recommendations for improving the effectiveness of political elites in stabilizing these relationships, thereby contributing to Ukraine's overall socio-economic development.
