Old ideologues of Trump's new team: the geopolitical groundwork for pro-Russian maga-narratives

Abstract

The article examines the main historical and political principles that formed the basic worldview of the 47th US President D.Trump in international politics and became clusters of the matrix of the so-called "Trump doctrine" and, accordingly, determine the concept of foreign policy of the United States. The main political groups (factions) in D.Trump's entourage that influence the implementation of geopolitics and geostrategy of official Washington are analyzed and identified, and the author's vision of the directions of the formation of the newest global model of world order and international security system is also determined.
