The study is devoted to the analysis of the principles of lex sportiva and the determination of their influence on the development of the international sports movement in the conditions of modern global challenges.
The purpose of the study is to determine the essence and main approaches to understanding the principles of "lex sportiva", to clarify their place in the system of global sports law, as well as to establish their influence on the development of the international sports movement on the example of the implementation of the principle of political neutrality of sports in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The methodological basis of the research is a complex of general scientific and special legal methods of cognition, in particular dialectical, formal legal, systemic structural, comparative legal, and the method of scientific generalization, the application of which ensured a comprehensive study of the principles of lex sportiva and their impact on the development of the international sports movement.
Conclusions. It was determined that the principles of lex sportiva constitute the fundamental basis of the modern transnational sports legal order and ensure the normative unity of the international sports movement. They are formed under the influence of corporate regulations of international sports organizations, arbitration practice, sports customs and generally recognized values of the sports community. It is substantiated that the modern development of international sports requires the expansion of the content of the principles of global sports law in the direction of combining sports autonomy with the requirements of humanism, security, inclusiveness and democratic accountability. It was concluded that the Russian-Ukrainian war actualized the need to rethink the principle of political neutrality of sport and demonstrated the impossibility of completely isolating the international sports movement from issues of peace, security and protection of universal values. The autonomy of sports in modern conditions should not be considered as an absolute separation from social processes, but as a legal category that requires coordination with the ethical obligations of sports organizations and the tasks of ensuring justice and maintaining international dialogue.
