Methods of developing legal thinking in the process of professional training of lawyers

The study aims to analyse the methods of developing legal thinking in the process of professional training of lawyers. Identification of the main approaches allows to form a comprehensive understanding of the importance of developing analytical and critical skills in law students, which contributes to increasing their effectiveness in professional activities. The purpose of the research is to study the existing teaching methods, improve them and introduce new innovative approaches that meet the current challenges of legal practice. The research process used methods of analysis, synthesis, abstraction, and generalization.The results of the study demonstrate the positive impact of innovative methods on the development of students’ legal thinking. It was found that the use of virtual technologies, the integration of an interdisciplinary approach and the activation of critical thinking allow for a deeper understanding of legal disciplines and improve students’ practical skills. Through the introduction of innovative teaching methods, including interactive classes, case studies, project-based learning and the integration of digital solutions, students are better prepared for the real challenges of the legal profession. The conclusions of the study highlight the need to continuously improve methods of developing legal thinking. The integration of modern educational technologies, such as virtual platforms, artificial intelligence, simulation practices, as well as the adaptation of traditional methods to the new realities of professional activity, are key to ensuring the competitiveness of law graduates. This allows us to create professionals who are able to effectively solve complex legal problems, meet modern challenges of legal practice and adapt to constantly changing legal conditions.
