Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the current approaches and directions of development of legal protection of artificial intelligence in Ukraine. Special attention is paid to the consideration of innovative solutions in the field of regulation and legislation, as well as to the definition of ethical and security aspects related to the use of artificial intelligence. The work uses such general scientific methods as analysis, synthesis, deduction, concretization, and generalization. In this study, current approaches and directions of development of legal protection of artificial intelligence in Ukraine were considered. The results of the study showed that the legal protection of artificial intelligence in Ukraine is at the stage of formation. Ukrainian legislation is beginning to take into account the specifics of innovative technologies, but there is a need for further improvement of the legal framework. It was revealed that Ukrainian legislators are actively adopting the experience of the European Union and other countries in the field of artificial intelligence regulation. In addition, the study showed that ethical aspects such as accountability and transparency of algorithms are still not sufficiently regulated. Security issues, including data protection and cybersecurity, remain a challenge for lawmakers and technology companies. Several important conclusions can be drawn on the basis of the conducted research. It is necessary to continue the development and improvement of legal mechanisms for the protection of artificial intelligence in Ukraine, taking into account international experience. Also, it is worth focusing on the ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence, ensuring accountability and transparency of algorithms. Particular attention should be paid to security issues, developing effective mechanisms for data protection and ensuring cyber security. Thus, a comprehensive approach to the regulation and development of artificial intelligence will contribute to its safe and ethical use in Ukraine.
