Abstract

The study was aimed at a comprehensive analysis of political conflicts in Ukraine in the context of the interaction of institutional and cultural factors. The main goal of the study was to identify the roots, dynamics and peculiarities of conflict development, as well as to assess the impact of state institutions and cultural characteristics on their escalation and settlement. The article examines the impact of institutional and cultural factors on the emergence and development of political conflicts in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of historical preconditions that contributed to the escalation of socio-political tensions, as well as the role of national identity and political institutions in this process. Using systematic analysis and comparative research, the authors found that the mismatch between political institutions and the needs of society, reinforced by the influence of external actors, is one of the key factors that determine the conflict potential of Ukrainian society. The article offers a comprehensive approach to understanding the interaction between different social groups and the institutional structure of the state. In addition, cultural factors, such as language, religion, and historical memory, play a significant role in shaping the political positions of citizens. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the complex interrelationships between the institutional and cultural aspects of political conflicts in Ukraine, offering recommendations for their resolution. It is determined that institutional and cultural factors have a significant impact on political conflicts in Ukraine. To resolve these conflicts, a comprehensive approach is needed that takes into account both the strengthening of state institutions and the cultural characteristics of different regions. The practical significance of the study is that its results can be used to develop effective strategies for managing political conflicts in Ukraine.

The study provides a comprehensive analysis of political conflicts in Ukraine, identifying the key factors that cause them. The results of the study expand the theoretical understanding of the interconnection of institutional and cultural factors in the emergence and development of political conflicts, and offer practical recommendations for politicians and civil society actors aimed at overcoming conflicts and building a sustainable society.
